This approach encourages you to dive into your character's role, develop (& resolve) personal arcs, and engage with the game world in meaningful ways. Expect a campaign where your ideas can shape the story, and bold, imaginative actions are often rewarded.

Every campaign maintains 5 player slots, which means that the DM will strive to ensure that there are 5 players for the overall experience.

Session Duration

Each game session lasts approximately 3-4 hours, with a break midway where it feels most natural. We have a hard stop at the 4-hour mark to respect everyone’s time.

You will receive a link to 'CabbageMeet' to input your availability for the proposed dates. The more availability you can provide, the better our chances of finding a time that suits everyone.

The selected time will become our fixed weekly session slot. Please ensure you can commit to this recurring schedule every week.

Session 0

Our first session, known as "Session 0," serves as an introduction where you'll meet your fellow players and where we’ll collaboratively finalize character creation. This session also includes discussions on campaign rules, and outlines expectations for both players and the DM.

The campaign start date is discussed when there are enough players on the waitlist to create a campaign.

My rate is $100 per session, payable in sets of four. This covers all associated costs with art, technology, hosting, and extensive session preparation, as well as a little something for me.

To ensure smooth planning and resource allocation, all payments for sessions will be made on the 26th of each month. Late payments, or failure to pay, without explicit permission, will result in removal from the campaign at the DM's discretion.

Continuity and Attendance

D&D requires commitment to both the campaign and your fellow players, including the DM. While emergencies are understandable, frequent absences disrupt the group dynamic.

Please communicate any emergencies with the DM to discuss possible accommodations. Note that we operate under a three-strike absence policy: without DM approval, three absences will result in removal from the campaign.

Sessions will only be canceled if 75% or more of the group is absent or in the event of an emergency from the DM.

Cancellation Policy

Absences

A player is responsible for payment for a session, even if they are not present at the session, unless given explicit directions otherwise as a players absence does not reduce the upkeep or planning costs of the session. This means that if a player is absent from a session they are still responsible for paying for the session.

Players must provide a reasonable amount of time before leaving for multiple reasons: This is a source of income for the DM, and these sessions will have a following who are invested in the story, among other things. If you need to leave a campaign for any reason, please contact the DM for next steps.

If you do not follow these steps when leaving a campaign, you will be banned from joining another ever again, and potentially be banned from all associated accounts. Please don't force that to happen.

Streaming and Privacy

All sessions are streamed on Twitch and later posted to Youtube. Clips may also be created and used on social media by BoldMordred at his discretion.

Chat may influence the session using redeems. Redeems generally favor player success, but all redeems are fair. Players in session may not make redeems for their session.

Extreme or detrimental behavior towards others may lead to removal after careful consideration and necessary discussions. The DM reserves the right to remove any player from the session and future games at their discretion.

In the event of forced removal from the campaign there are no refunds provided.

Player Conduct

Collaborative Play

Respectful and cooperative play is crucial. This is a collaborative storytelling experience. Everyone should have equal opportunity to contribute and shine.

Please, no hero complexes. Everyone deserves a turn at the helm.

Make sure your party has fun, and I’ll make sure you have fun.

Scenes with sexual themes will always 'fade to black' and must be handled tastefully. Any romantic interactions, whether between players or between players and NPCs, require mandatory, prior discussion with the DM.

Content Guidelines

Mandatory Backstories & Character Creation

I will provide a link to my DnDBeyond Campaign, which provides access to a huge amount of resources for character creation. I also provide a personal link for each player for a mandatory questionnaire with backstory related questions. you are welcome to continue building an even bigger backstory, but the questionnaire must be filled out entirely FIRST.

Please note, the DM reserves the right to Creative Freedom, which means that once you’ve given information (I.E. A backstory), that is canon and the DM can use that any way they like.

Don’t argue with the DM.

I do my best to be reasonable and fair, & I am open to discussions, but blatant arguing makes the game awkward for everyone.

This world does not necessarily adhere to the traditional D&D experience and is homebrewed. Expect differences!

We will be using Milestones for Leveling up.

Healing Potions can be used as a Bonus Action on yourself. It requires a full Action to use it on someone else.

All players must be 18 years of age or older to join any type of session.

Confirm Participation

Confirm with the DM that you’ve seen read the Terms & Conditions via Discord.

Once you've been confirmed as a player by the DM, you will be provided a 'CabbageMeet' link to submit your availability for the weekly campaign sessions.

When filling it out, please ignore the actual dates listed, as we are determining your general weekly availability. Ensure you choose times you can consistently commit to each week.

Prepare Payment

After getting confirmation on a start date and weekly timeslot, you'll want to arrange the payment of your first set of sessions. The initial payment dates are are provided by the DM, but all future payments are due on the 26th of each month.

Payments are made through PayPal.

Once all that is set up, the campaign is almost ready!

Make sure to keep your Discord notifications on for your campaigns channel, as that will be the primary communication method for the DM and your party!

A One-Shot is perfect for introducing your character, personal traits (good or bad), while engaging with the game in a single, complete adventure!

Multiple Sessions encourages you to dive into your character's personality and develop a role within the party while engaging with the game world in meaningful ways. Expect a set of sessions where your ideas can shape the story, and bold, imaginative actions are often rewarded.
